Ring2 Review

The overall look and feel of the Ring2 website is very good, with the black/grey and orange colour scheme working well. Navigation is simple and the information is displayed in a clearly readable format. On first impressions the site is very compact with all information easily accessible through the top horizontal navigation bar.

On the other hand, in order to make a conference call, you have to register your interest by filling out a form. There are a few companies which do this and it means you have longer to wait before you can actually start holding conference calls, not to mention you’ll have to converse with a pushy sales person. In my opinion the simpler the transaction the better!

Ring2 provides reservationless audio conferencing for the UK and over 40 international countries (to find out which countries these are you have to contact them). Calls in the UK are typically 5p/min which is comparable to the majority of the competition.

A great feature of Ring2 is the integration with Blackberry phones where you can join calls, see a real time list of participants, add participants from your mobile address book and record conference calls.

Ring2 offers web conferencing from WebEx, one of the market leaders in web conferencing, however it is a paid for service charged at 8p/min per participant.

There are no major concerns with the call quality from Ring2.

Customer service at Ring2 is quite good. Their contact numbers and email address can easily be found on the website and emails are answered relatively quickly and efficiently.
