Premier Global review

The Premier Global staff proclaim themselves to be ‘the meetings experts’ and they provide a good enough service to be able to legitimise that claim – to an extent, at least. If you were to ask every company in the conference call industry, they would unquestionably call themselves experts, so only an actual user experience can determine how proficient they really are.

Their website is easily navigable and aesthetically pleasing enough, which makes for a good first impression. It is clean, presentable and well-structured and that bodes well for the quality and method of their service.

To sign up, you will need to complete a ‘Contact Us’ form and wait for them to get back to you. This is a minor inconvenience if you want to get started right away, but there is a Freephone number and a live chat service if you want to speed things up a little bit – the customer service is of a good standard at PGi.

Their services include web, video, event and audio conferencing, all of which provide a combined approximate total of 40 million meetings a year. The Global Meet audio and web conferencing they offer, via which you get unlimited web meetings for up to 125 participants, costs $39/month for users based in the USA. They do get a free trial of 30 days to try before they buy, but there is no indication of whether the same offer is available elsewhere as there are no UK prices advertised on the site.

As part of the Global Meet package, PGi offers meetings in the palm of your hand with a great app that customers can use on their iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad or Blackberry. The quality of the calls with PGi, on whichever format you choose, is impressive.

The meetings experts put their expertise to good use in the solutions department, which is industry-specific for small, medium and large enterprises across government, logistics, technology, legal and more. 2011 is their 20th year in operation, so it is fair to say that they know what they are doing.

The only downfall of PGi is that it seems as though you have to contact them to find out anything in-depth about their services. It would be a little more convenient if the website included more detail about costs for every service the company offers, but the advisors (or salesmen and women) are more than helpful on the telephone with the benefit of a human touch, too. Contact details for PGi are certainly very easy to find on the website.
