Conference Plus review

Providing several conference calling solutions with a unique interface design, the ConferencePlus conference call system interface is easy enough to navigate. The service includes both teleconferencing and web conferencing facilities, but it’s still not the most user friendly option out there, with the interface needing a little improvement.

Among the conference call services provided are audio and web video options, meeting record and replay, a participant list, blocked entry, and various presenter controls. However, there isn’t any way of sending automated invites or RSVPs for conference calls. Users can, however, also share documents, files and applications, with the presenter, host or moderator being able to share their entire desktop in order to guide participants on a web tour or to show them specific aspects of an application.

In terms of interactivity, participants can be polled immediately for feedback, which can then be discussed in real time, and the system also allows participants to submit questions to the host, presenter or moderator for immediate answers. If your meeting only requires minimal interaction, then this might be your system.

Support-wise, while there is the facility to reach the team via an email contact form, response times vary. The company does provide a Freephone number, with operators able to offer tutorials and access to an online account management system. Customers could definitely benefit hugely from a live chat facility, though.

Ample for businesses large and small, ConferencePlus’ web package provides users with access to Microsoft Office Live Meeting, IBM LotusLive and Cisco WebEx, although while ConferencePlus does offer the same services, its online account management system’s interface does not have the usability of some of its rivals.
